Bunaken, beautiful weather again this morning!!

Beautiful morning today on Bunaken Island.

Time to say good bye to Chin chan's last puppy.

One of our dog "Chin chan" 's last puppy in the resort.

He is so cute and just look like his father "Gonzo". 

Our staff bring him their home today.

Time to say "Good bye" to him.

He is just so cute!! So pity to let him go...ummm

 Out on our trip today we came across this huge Napoleon Wrasse at Mikes point a cha cha favourite snorkel and dive location.

The solar eclipse seen from Bunaken Island.

How was the solar eclipse from where you live?

Here from Bunaken island, we could not see the complete solar ring, but when Raf took picture of the sunrise, it looked like this.

It looks like a moon at night, but this is sun rise this morning around 5:35am on Bunaken island.

We had to use special sun glasses to see the sun, of course.

Manado, Bunaken Island Beautiful day for Diving!

Hundreds of dolphins!!

This morning, hundreds of dolphins were passing in front of Cha Cha. They were spread around to some groups all over the sea.

New site seeing point on Manado, Sulawesi, Main Land

New site seeing point at Citra Land in Manado.

We found some "Tour Bus" this day!!

Usually there are no tourist you will see in Main land.

TV ASAHI Program "A message from sea" about Bunaken Cha Cha started to show from Feb2012!!

TV ASAHI CS Program "A message from sea" 

about Owners and Bunaken Cha Cha Nature Resort will be on air 12 times for two years in JAPAN.

"Episode-91 Bunaken Cha Cha in Indonesia" started from Feb2012.

Pilot whale appeared in front of Cha Cha.

Pilot whale arrived in front of our resort while we having lunch on 11th January.
There were minimum around 30 of them, and three or four groups who swimming separately.
Most of them are 5 to 6 meter long, but we could see bit small one, too. The bigger size whale protected the small ones.
What a beautiful and amazing creatures!

Lucky to see them so many all in one go on our 15th Wedding Anniversary Day.

Moon clip and Firefly @ Bunaken Island

Moon clips started around 21:00 local time.

While we were watching this moon clip, we realized some fire flies flying around and inside of big tree in front of our house. Fantastic!

Our guests Mr.Naoyuki sent us wonderful picture of PINK EYE GOBY/ RED EYE GOBY/HOVERING GOBY. This fish got also lot's different names... 

Japanese TV Program call "A message from the sea".

It will show about the dive and snorkel sites of Bunaken Island and the story of owners Raf and Reiko & Bunaken Cha Cha Nature Resort on February 2012, TV ASAHI on CS Program.

It's start from Feb2012 and show it 12 times in two years.

Japanese TV Team arrived.

Recently mostly great vizability (20m+) with 29C average temp.

On a couple of dives, due to plankton, the clarity was reduced a little but then lots of reef activity.

A Japanese Team have been filming a documentary for Japanese TV program call "A message from the sea" by TV ASAHI about Cha Cha Owners and life here underwater. 

The cameraman used 4 cameras and necessary strobes including macro lens to catch the

littlest of critters, like ornate ghost pipe fish.

Dove also in the rain with Tobias and Gerd who braved the weather and went for it… Great dives and both very happy they made the effort to get out of bed.

Good Weather Everyday in August this year. 

Quite hot but there is always nice sea breeze on the Bunaken Island.

Under water is beautiful as heaven and water temp. is 29℃.
